Towering high among the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Banff National Park is home to Banff Town, the largest town within the park. In 1883, during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway, two railway workers discovered a hot spring and reported it to the then-president of the railway, George Stephen. The area was subsequently named "Banff" in honor of his birthplace, Banffshire, Scotland. With its rich culture and exquisite cuisine, Banff Town exudes a strong Swiss alpine charm, making it an unforgettable destination!
