Aklavik Boat Tour

See the vast Mackenzie Delta, the historic community of Aklavik, and the grave site of the Mad Trapper, all with your local guide!

On this 7 hour boat tour you will have the opportunity to explore the many channels of the Mackenzie Delta, rich with wildlife and breathtaking views. After reaching Aklavik, you will have a 2 hour town tour with your local guide exploring the many hidden gems and historic sites Aklavik has to offer, including the grave site of the Mad Trapper! Once finished your tour, you will return back to Inuvik by boat for a journey further filled with stories of the land and life in Canada’s high Arctic.

• It is suggested that you bring some snacks for your trip though a bagged lunch will be provided.
• Remember to where layers as the weather can change quickly in the Arctic. You can always take jackets off and keep in the boat.
